Having way too much fun with this. Last pic got Kinja’d by a failing
USB drive. Lots of hilarious parody decals on PSN.

Depends on what you’re looking for.
For many years Forza leapt ahead in engine/exhaust sounds, more rewarding career progression, livery customisation, variety of cars, etc. But this was at great cost to car model accuracy (as I’ve posted in the past, they can be glaringly inaccurate and some even have the wrong proportions) and questionable physics (every car would oversteer wildly with the assists turned off).
During that period, GT was hobbled by too many cars (resulting in the ridiculous “premium cars / standard cars” divide in GT5 and GT6). GT Sport fixed literally every one of those weaknesses by focusing on a much smaller set of cars, and they also now boast a much more versatile livery editor than even Forza. Of course, the usual GT advantages such as better physics, stunningly accurate car models, etc. are still in full effect.
But if you want full driving physics down to the accurate tire models, you need to sacrifice the graphics and mods (basically one of the equally important halves of driving/racing games) and go to something like iRacing or Assetto Corsa.

It doesn’t have a passenger seat. “Taxi - 0 Seats”

I see, I see. I’d trade the higher quality car models for more releases, because GT games are just too few and far between. I don’t care about livery. My biggest gripe with GT Sport is that I really want to drive road cars, I don’t care for actual race cars. And I don’t want to play online.

I personally prefer road cars too. They demand less constant attention than race cars and I like to play with things that I could [hypothetically] buy and use.
GTs 5 and 6 lost out to Forza at the time, but GT-S has become my favourite racing game, ever. And all the track updates so far have been free.

Hopefully one day I’ll pick it up cheap so I can’t have regrets ;) I did really enjoy the beta

The taxi livery on the Civic makes it actually look like a Prius Taxi...
And actually 5- seats are uncommon these days. Most are the 4-seat console mount Crown Comforts.

Yep. Those Priuses didn’t last long—too expensive to run in Hong Kong . The Crown Comforts are now starting to be replaced by the purpose-built Comfort Hybrid with a special Autogas version of HSD .
I was just too lazy to edit the 5 seats thing. The 4C race car has 0 passenger seats!

Considering the 4-seat Crowns only just landed recently... think those will take a while to phase out. I did see one or two of the JPN Taxi-based Comforts a month back.
Although good thing is... plenty of supply to DIY them into TRD Comforts.

Turbo drift car!!

Fixed pic. My biggest gripe about the outgoing Crown Comfort is not its basic modest looks or its functionality, but the fact that it’s a design from the early 1990s and has the crash performance of that exact same era. It’s terrible and folds like a tin can as often seen in collisions with other, more modern vehicles.
Cage it up like a race car and that all becomes irrelevant.

Well you could’ve said the same thing about the Crown Vic. And frankly given Hong Kong's traffic speeds it's more than enough. I would be way scared in a Town Car on a North American highway.
PS: Care to make a version with plates KD 9968 or SF 5701? If you get the reference, lol.

No, I don’t get the references for those plates.
I can’t make them standalone (without a car) as I don’t have the software. I just grab someone’s full set of UK font (it’s close enough to most HK fonts) and a UK front and rear blank plate.
Let me know if you still want me to make them as a livery for a specific car.

Never noticed that. What kind of car?

They tend to reuse plates over and over again, lol.

Quite the observation! Do you watch these?

Being from Hong Kong myself... that’s kinda my staple, lol. Gotta mix the rice with some TV sauce.

Oh, that makes sense then. You’re in the area now?
